i felt like lurking here all of a sudden..

well, my username is Accelerator, feel free to call me that. i like the Index-verse very much, and well… Accelerator is a very awesome character. with awesome powers. and awesome character design.

my top 5 series are One Piece, Nurarihyon no Mago, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Fullmetal Alchemist, & Ao no Exorcist. Yeah they're all shonen. the top 6-10 are all of the shonen sports/martial arts variety.

let's see… currently reading shonen manga are One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Bakuman, Nurarihyon no Mago, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Beelzebub, Medaka Box, Kurogane, HSD Kenichi, Buyuden, Ao no Exorcist and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. oh and trying to catch up with the Index light novels (man, are those long or what).

also I despise Medaka Box with my very being. only read it because a friend forced me to, and I already invested too much time in it to drop it. i figured i might as well stick with it since they say it's ending soon.

beamcast was one of the few podcasts i actually listened to, and the shonen tier list was genius. I hope they come back.

Index 2 is great (there was a science arc or two, but there were a lot of magic arcs at the beginning, which i don't like as much. that last arc makes the entire season worthwhile, though). the novels are waaaaay more interesting than the anime. the power systems are explained in depth, which the anime doesn't have time to expound upon.

the Railgun manga is a must-read. it was delightful reading Sisters Arc from Misaka's POV

i like the fact that it covered how she found out about The Experiment up to what happened until Accelerator's fight against Touma.

as for Medaka Box… i don't even want to like it anymore. Kumagawa was great (when he was a villain, not that much now that he became a protagonist), but he's not enough to save the entire series tbh.
