Another Great edition, I was anticipating it. It feels weird hearing you in a studio, and for some reason Drew sounded completely different, but moving on…

    Bleach:
I actually lol’d (happily) at the ‘agreement’ of the how this Weeks Bleach was good in the standards you give it. I did enjoy it as I said in the chapter thread, but here is a little more food for thought based on what you guys were assuming and judging:

Fusing with ‘Getsuga’ – As you said, it’s technically not ‘Zangetsu’ he is fusing with, rather the attack he has been using through most of the series which was a nice twist.

Mugetsu – The Black-ness basically, lol. Translated it meant something along the lines of ‘No Moon’ or ‘Moonless Night’, so as one of you mentioned it could be some sort of abiltity that does an effect to everything within the area, which would be nice, could be ‘stripping’ the powers of the shinigami off of Ichigo whilst also taking away Aizen’s Godlike-Powers.

Also – Ichigo stated he will lose his Shinigami powers after using this form ‘Final Getsuga Tensho’, but what we don’t know is will he still have his ‘hollow’ powers. Could be a point where this could take off after Aizen either hopefully dies or someone else appears to cause a stir.

    Fairy Tail:
200 was kinda lame, but 201 was fantastic imo, I agree that it showed great characters again like Lluvia who I really hope gets the spot, unless the Mangaka wants to up the pacing and move onto more sophisticated arcs (Which I doubt tbh) and if he wants to move the plot further Natsu will get the spot.

The ‘Hand’ – When Charlie predicted the future again, she saw Natsu and that Alcoholic Woman (Whose Name I can’t recall) crying over someone. Most definitely a Death done by the emo child of doom. :P
Who do you think would have been ‘killed’, enough to break Natsu out of the Anger Reaction and more of the Sad and tearful reaction shot. I’m guessing Lissiana, or possibly even Lucy…

S-Class – Yeh, I thought Lluvia and Gazielle were Official S Class Mages of Fairy Tail but it turns out that they are S-Class ‘Level’ but still not at that official rank. It will be interesting to see how far Lluvia goes, I will seriously be rooting for her (My Favourite Character of FT)

Just focusing on those two, though I do read about 75% of the series covered. I once again enjoyed the podcast and I am looking forward to next weeks.

(Who knows, maybe Bleach will be even better than this chapter..!) lol.

I agree with you concerning Bleach, it was truly a good Bleach chapter, but i was actually more glad to see that Ichigo’s new power-up might actually lead him to losing his shinigami powers, and that might mean that the series is coming to an end. From what I can understand, Ichigo’s Getsuga fusion is kinda like Uryu’s glove early in the series. After removing it and gaining a boost in powers, he lost them, and Ichigo’s probably gonna lose them as well (Sure hope he doesn’t recover them after losing them, that would make the whole point of Ichigo losing his powers to beat Aizen completely cheap). But if next chapters (deicide 23, 24, 25… that is) are as good as this one, we can hope that the arc comes to a satisfying, memorable close.

On the other hand, about Fairy Tail, I can’t say that i liked the chapter (201), but not hated it either. It’s just that I was too excited when the first two chapters of the Edolas arc where released and my expectations where afterwards shattered, and I’m not willing to expect anything fantastic from this arc either, since this chapter was not even as exciting as the disappearance of the guild was back then. And I’m way too prejudiced on emo characters (*cough* Sasuke *cough*) that I’m not so impressed about the new enemy so far. However, Lluvia is my favorite character as well so her appearance on the arc is a good thing.

I’d be actually excited for the upcoming arc if the emo boy had anything to do with Igneel. It’s about time we see an important plot involving the dragons.

To the beamcast crew: You should really try reading manga using the Ipad (If you’re not already doing so). There is the Bookman application which virtually turns the Ipad to a manga volume. Just download the volumes off mangatraders or any other site and and compress them to .zip format and load them in your Ipad. The Ipad has really cranked my manga experience up to Eleven.
